Once home to the glamorous 1940s Hollywood actress Veronica Lake and her renowned lyricist husband, Joseph McCarthy, our farm carries a legacy of charm and creativity. In the 1950s, this iconic couple found inspiration here, and their spirit still resonates throughout the property.The Mountain Airstrip Farm also pays homage to the Ellis Family, the original owners and the very first residents of Hadley in the 1790s. Their pioneering spirit and love for the land set the foundation for our enchanting and naturally beautiful haven.
